My Pointless Red Painting
The undying tube was messy and brown-looking, covered in every paint I had, and at that point, my impulses were high to just ditch it. So I made a monochrome red painting with what was left.

David Tompkins and Daniel Miller met in Tokyo in 2017 when Daniel was participating in the 3331 Arts residency in Chiyoda, and David was spending time painting and interloping after college. The conversation deepened over a mutual need for frank critique, analysis and community.
